This past weekend, (March, 20th) all of us here at the shop made the trip to Atlanta to set up the floral arrangements we designed for the big Board of Regents event. The expansive Atrium Ballroom at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis was beautifully decorated with dramatic lighting and table settings as well as our colorful and one-of-a-kind floral arrangements. In my opinion, the bold colors and very unique flower selections made this year's decor even more stunning than last year's!
The opulent display of flowers included magnificent "King Proteas." These flowers truly added drama and elegance to the event. The floral pieces included tall cylinder vases with cascading arrangements at the top as well as lower arrangements specially designed with king proteas, mini calla lilies and blue thistle tucked into a glimmering coral-like figure atop glass vases-- a truly unique design. White hydrangeas and brilliant blue delphinium were used in the taller arrangements.
To say the least, this Board of Regents event featured a very unique palette of flowers, color and style and was an event to remember for all who attended! I took some pictures with my didgital camera for you to enjoy. Look out for a blog update with the professional pictures included!
