On May 16, 2009 Barbara and Christian exchanged their wedding vows at the picturesque McRae family estate in Athens, Georgia. As a tribute to the happy occasion, Barbara's parents dedicated a wedding garden to the new couple which served as the scenic backdrop to the ceremony and reception.
The coral and champagne color scheme was accentuated by late afternoon sun that cast a warm, intimate glow on the outdoor wedding. For the flowers, the bride chose crisp white calla lilies accented by green hypericum berries and tropical, hot pink orchids. Not a detail was spared for the opulent affair where the scenery was truly reminiscent of a pristine, tropical paradise.
